Trading is a source of obtaining parts, which can then be used to construct and airplane. Other methods of obtaining parts include buying them in the Market (where new parts are updated every few minutes), purchasing new airports (you unlock one random part to a random plane), or by scrapping planes in the hangar.
This discussion can be used to trade with other players. It is simple. Just state your GameCenter name and then list the parts of airplanes that you want. Then, make a list of the parts you are willing to offer to trade with.
